Stylish London Wedding - shot on Digital and Film
There are so many elements to love about Eunice & Alex's stylish London wedding. Held over 2 days, these beauties gave their families and friends a once-in-a-lifetime experience around some of London's coolest spots. Both Eunice & Alex are from California, but work brought them to London a few years ago. So, when they started planning their wedding, they knew instantly they wanted to show off their adopted home.
Right from our first conversation, I knew this was going to be a fun one, but I wasn't prepared for just how fun, intentional and emotional this weekend was going to be! Eunice & Alex had thought through every little detail, with the sole aim of giving their guests the best possible experience. From personalised, hand-written notes to each guest, to custom Trader Joe's tote bags complete with their dog Penny's face, these guys took everyone on a 48hr emotional rollercoaster of a tour.
The celebrations kicked off from Festival Pier on Friday evening, with a 4hr cruise up and down the Thames, taking in some of London's iconic landmarks, so let's start there...

Pre-Wedding Drinks - The Boat Party

London Wedding Photographer
One of the most fun elements to this weekend for me was that Eunice & Alex wanted me to shoot a combination of digital and 35mm film across both days. Shooting film is something I've always done purely for myself, so incorporating it into my wedding day workflow was dreamy. I enjoyed it so much I've now added it as a 'bolt-on', so if you're reading this and you're keen for some film at your wedding, let's chat more!
Okay, time for some wedding day action. Eunice & Alex got ready at home, before walking 2 mins around the corner to the gorgeous Islington Town Hall for their ceremony, with Penny enjoying every moment of the limelight! After some quick post-ceremony portraits and a tonne of confetti, we all boarded a vintage red London bus for the journey out to The Waterman's Arms for drinks, some truly incredible food and some of the most emotional speeches I've ever heard...

Okay, before we go any further, I need to give a massive shout-out to my guy Joce from Lune De Miel Studio. Shooting alongside Joce was an absolute dream and, considering this was the first time we'd ever met (full disclosure, we went for a pre-game beer before the boat drinks to catch up) we had an absolute blast! So if you're in the market for a film maker, get him booked in pronto!
Right, that's more than enough waffle from me. If you're planning your own London wedding and you're interested in working with me, get in touch and let's get the ball rolling.
