Stunning Elmley Nature Reserve Wedding



Okay, there are some pretty stunning Elmley Nature Reserve weddings, and then there's Shea & Doug's stunning Elmley Nature Reserve wedding! Yes, this one is very much on a pedestal, and for good reason.


Sometimes, as a wedding photographer, you’re blessed with the trifecta; couple, venue and vibe. Shea & Doug's wedding put a rocket under each one and launched them into the stratosphere! Yes, it really was that good! SO freaking good, and I'm kinda gutted it's over, but also super-grateful to have been there to share it with them. Zero stress, zero formality, SO MANY laughs and 100,000,000 tonnes of fun!!

Let's talk a bit about Elmley Nature Reserve. Aside from it's stunning views and excellent conservation work, it's a truly stunning wedding venue, and one I'd been super excited to visit. And now I'm buzzing to go back. What a place! Steph and the team ran a slick, effortless day and made everything so easy for Shea & Doug, and for me! So, like I said earlier, this was a day full of fun, emotion, plenty of laughs and zero stress. Shea & Doug had one very simple aim for their wedding day; to spend as much time as possible with their guests and keep the 'formalities' to a minimum. Dreamy! As a photographer who puts a huge emphasis on human connection, this makes for an even better playground, because people have the time and space away from the 'expected' activities to just spend quality time, catch up and connect. That's exactly what a wedding day should be about, and that made this day even more amazing to be a part of.
