"Matt, honestly, we have no words! The photos left us out of breath, we'll treasure them forever! We felt like you'd acted as a wedding doula for us - the day would not have been the same without you. Thank you so so much!"
Daniela & Lindani
Intimate wedding at Hackney Town Hall
If I had a 'hall of fame' for intimate London weddings, Daniela & Lindani's beautiful wedding at Hackney Town Hall would go straight into the top 3! Gorgeous, kind and effortlessly cool, Daniela & Lindani kept their guest list small, their day short, and their priorities right; to minimise the 'formalities' in favour of genuine time and connection with their guests. You can see why I was so excited to be a part of their day, right?
After meeting them at their flat in Hackney, we took a stroll under umbrella's through the streets to Hackney Town Hall, where we met up with their guests and had some laughs before their ceremony. Keep scrolling to check it out...
London Wedding Photographer
One of the most beautiful elements of Daniela & Lindani's wedding was just how intimate and emotional they were. They held absolutely nothing back and showed their true, authentic selves. After a brief and emotional ceremony, we all hung out on the steps of the town hall before their guests made their way to their lunch spot and we headed off to Daniela & Lindani's favourite cafe/bar for a celebratory glass of fizz, and for the most emotional moment of the day. You'd think that their personalised vows in the ceremony would have taken care of that bit, but no, they took it up another notch. Rather than exchanging rings, they had written each other a letter, outlining their commitment to each other, which they exchanged in the ceremony, and read at the cafe! Not a dry eye in the house, including mine!! Gorgeous!
