Okay, let me tell you about Mily & Will and their elegant wedding at home in the Kent countryside back in June. It was AWESOME! Why? Well, it was exactly what a wedding day should be. All the fun, minimal formalities and nothing ‘superfluous’ or ‘because we probably should’. Mily & Will both hit the nail on the head when we first spoke, by saying “we just want to have time with everyone and not be rushing around on the day”. They’re SO right. That’s what you’re supposed to have on your wedding day. And that’s exactly what we did. Everything else around that was quick and easy, and everyone had the best time as a result.
Elegant Wedding at Home
Mily looked sensational in her custom dress from the lovely Henrietta Faire in Covent Garden. Henrietta actually went to university with Mily’s Mum, and also made her wedding dress which, if I’m remembering this correctly, was the first dress she’d made!! How awesome is that?! It was a beautifully made dress and it was so fun to have the time and space to show it off in the photos, and pull out little details here and there when the light was just right.

Right, that’s more than enough rambling from me. I could tell you so much more about this day, but the photos will do a much better job of that than I will. Besides, that’s kinda the point, isn’t it?
