Documentary Wedding Photographer



I absolutely love a wedding at home. There's something so beautifully authentic about them and, as a photographer who primarily shoots in a documentary style, I feel like I get more chances to capture people in their most natural, relaxed way. Documentary wedding photography is all about telling stories and using the emotion and authenticity of real moments to make emotive photos that make the viewer feel what it was like to be there, on that day and in that moment. At-home weddings often give even more opportunities for this, as everyone is in familiar surroundings and are much closer to their comfort zone.

Kent Wedding Photographer



The Kent countryside never fails to amaze, and Lizzie & Will's day at the family Oast, in amongst the orchards surrounding Ashford, certainly didn't disappoint. As soon as they'd got in touch and talked me through their plans, I felt like we had a brilliant connection and their wedding was a bright light in my diary that I'd looked forward to and got so excited about. As a wedding photographer, you always try to go into each wedding with no 'expectations' so you can focus on telling the story as it happens, but this one blew any expectations I had out of the water! Genuinely lovely, kind and authentic people, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, celebrating at the family home. Happy days!
